Open Fell Poetics and a Shepherd's Almanac

After more than two years in the making, a great deal of time alongside farmers as well as at my desk, I am completing an almanac and a collection of poetry reflecting a year in upland farming in Cumbria, for a master's degree (by research): in Creative Writing. I have been awarded the Cairncross McRae Scholarship at the University of Glasgow's Solway Centre for Environment & Culture.
